Welcome to the Save Horsham Old Town Hall campaign website

Save the historic Horsham Old Town Hall from being gutted and turned into a restaurant.

I have created the 'Save Horsham Old Town Hall' campaign as I believe we should be preserving historic buildings like this one, using them for community use, and not turning them into unwanted restaurants - especially when there are plenty of other sites in Horsham where new restaurants could be sited.

Campaign positions :

  1. Horsham needs community venues

  2. Horsham does not need more restaurants

  3. Horsham Old Town Hall is an historic grade 2 listed building which should be preserved

  4. Horsham Old Town Hall is a great venue for enjoying music (it has great acoustics)

To support this cause : please email one (or preferably all) of the following people/organizations to voice your concerns with the plan to allow Bill's Produce to open a restaurant in the Old Town Hall :

Protest against Horsham Councils decision to destroy our historic Old Town Hall and the loss of another community centre : (this is the general email for Horsham District council) :
contact@horsham.gov.uk

Ask the MP for Horsham to support the cause to save one of our historic buildings and keep it for community use : (From this page you can email the MP for Horsham (Francis Maude) :

This cause has nothing against Bill’s Produce and would be happy to have them in Horsham as a business as long as it’s not at the cost of the Old Town Hall. Ask Bill to move his plans to another site within Horsham! : (from this page you can email Bill’s Produce) :
